
Ilan Asqolani has completed his Bachelor’s degree from the English Department, Universitas Indonesia, and Master’s degree from the Educational Effectiveness and School Improvement, RijkUniversiteit Groningen, the Netherlands. His work experience is mostly spent on project management with the main focus on education. One of the projects he has managed include the ASEAN Data Science Explorers (ADSE), a regional project focusing on digital literacy improvement among youths across the ASEAN region, with annual funding of USD 180K. Another major project he handled was the SMART Lab Project, a three-year USAID-funded project, aimed to improve STEM teaching and learning at high school levels in Indonesia, with the total funding of USD 1,5 million. Other projects he involved were related to youth entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and volunteerism.
He has established numerous successful collaborations and partnerships with Indonesian government, governments from the 10 ASEAN countries, schools in Indonesia, higher education institutions across the ASEAN region, development agencies, youth-affiliated organisations, CSOs, and social enterprises in Indonesia and ASEAN region. His expertise is on project management, building partnership, monitoring & evaluation, project proposal development, doing research, research paper writing, and project report writing.
