AIM ASEAN (AI for MSME Advancement in ASEAN) is a two-year regional initiative by the ASEAN Foundation, under the AI Opportunity Fund: Asia Pacific, in collaboration with AVPN and supported by Google.org and the Asian Development Bank. It aims to empower 100,000 MSMEs across all ASEAN Member States. Through practical, localised AI training, AIM ASEAN helps small business owners use digital tools to improve operations, expand markets, and build resilience. The programme also brings together policymakers and experts to strengthen the ecosystem that enables MSMEs to thrive in the digital age.

Where Singapore's AI Ecosystem Comes Together

Artificial intelligence is reshaping businesses, industries, and the future of work. While awareness of AI has grown significantly, many organisations continue to face the same challenge—not whether to adopt AI, but how to do so successfully.

AIM ASEAN Singapore 2026: National Convening & Flagship Forum is a national platform that brings together policymakers, business leaders, education institutions, industry associations, technology providers, and ecosystem partners to accelerate practical AI adoption for enterprises.

As part of the regional AIM ASEAN (AI for MSME Advancement in ASEAN) initiative, the event moves beyond AI awareness to focus on implementation, workforce capability, responsible adoption, and measurable business outcomes.

Whether you are shaping AI policy, leading organisational transformation, or beginning your AI journey, this event provides practical insights, meaningful connections, and clear pathways from awareness to impact.

See AIM ASEAN in Action

Since its launch, AIM ASEAN Singapore has brought together business owners, professionals, educators, technology partners, and ecosystem stakeholders through practical AI training, workshops, and networking sessions. Here's a glimpse of the growing community driving AI adoption across Singapore.

What our Alumni Said

  • The AIM ASEAN training offered practical and well-structured insights into AI adoption and implementation for businesses. The course materials, combined with thoughtful discussions among SMEs and AI practitioners, helped translate emerging AI concepts into actionable perspectives. It was a valuable programme for organisations looking to approach AI adoption with greater clarity and confidence.

  • As Director of eFusion Technology Pte Ltd, I’ve spent more than two decades helping businesses adopt technology and digital commerce. What impressed me about the AIM ASEAN programme is that it makes AI practical for everyday businesses, not just something for developers or tech companies.

The programme breaks AI down into simple, actionable steps that business owners can actually apply to improve operations, marketing, and decision-making. That’s exactly what many SMEs in Singapore need right now.
I appreciate that the programme focuses on real business use cases and responsible adoption, rather than just theory. It gives leaders a clearer roadmap on how AI can be integrated into their workflow without overwhelming their teams.

Initiatives like AIM ASEAN are important because they help level the playing field for SMEs across the region. When more businesses understand how to use AI effectively, the entire ASEAN ecosystem becomes stronger and more competitive.
I’m glad to have completed the programme and look forward to seeing more business owners take advantage of it.

  • I found the AIM ASEAN program useful for two parts: the updates on the newest AI developments for businesses and how they are used, and also from the knowledgeable and hands-on presenters and their experience. The share how some companies use AI in different manners and different aspects a company should look at to remain compliant yet taking full advantage of AI tools.

I am in recruitment for MNCs and SMEs business in Singapore. I have been recommending the program to my network because I think businesses can remain competitive if they acquire more knowledge about the AI space. My clients are more often asking how the candidates use AI: how they form prompts, how they validate the information, how do they correct the information.
