Mr Loh Yew Chiong is the Deputy Principal (Academic) of Singapore Polytechnic. His responsibilities include providing strategic directions and leadership for the academic schools and programmes, including industry collaborations, academic functions, pedagogies, academic quality system and resources. He also oversees the departments of human resources and planning & organizational development.
He is currently co-leading a 5-polytechnic projects like in providing useful student learning analytics and information to all academic staff, and benchmarking of AI practices among POLITE institutes.
Prior to his appointment as Deputy Principal, he was separately appointed in different periods as Cluster Director of Engineering and Cluster Director of Computing, Chemical & Life Sciences.
